The state of Florida as a whole saw $9.5 billion in condo sales and $30.1 billion in home sales in the second quarter of 2019. So how did our area do?
Overall summer has been a busy season for real estate in our area. Compared to the same time last year, home sales increased across the board for the areas of Destin (+16), Miramar Beach/Sandestin (+12), and 30A East (+2), and 30A West (+7). Okaloosa Island (+19) and 30A West (+19) saw an increase in condo sales, while the areas of Destin (-5), Miramar Beach/Sandestin (-12), and 30A East (-17) saw a decline in condo sales.
